EMT Logger is an app designed to record the date and time of various events that take place during typical EMS calls, by BLS Squads. The documentation begins when an EMS crew is dispatched for a medical emergency, and ends when the crew is back to their quarters or available for subsequent calls. When a new case is created in the app, users can record the date/time for various factors including Dispatched, Acknowledged, Enroute, At Scene, At Patient, Leave Referring, At Receiving, Pt Transferred and Available. In addition, there are options to record the date/time of a patients vitals and custom events such as the arrival of ALS units. For each event, users can record the date and time with a single click, and also add additional information such as mileage, vitals etc. There is a feature to record a voice memo for each event simply by clicking the microphone icon and speaking. Additional voice memos for a given event are appended to the initial voice memo, allowing EMTs to record event details progressively. This app is the result of efforts put in by committed and hardworking volunteers of Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad (MJFAS) of New Jersey. MJFAS invites other BLS squads to freely use this app, if it serves their purpose.
